All About Me

Life is meant for living.  It is messy, exciting, chaotic, hard, and often full of joy with a sprinkling of sorrow.  Creations come from our dreams.  What we dream of may be to own a mansion or just have a simple, but loving home to live in. Perhaps the dream is to dance in a field of flowers or create the perfect meal. Some of us dream of having a happy, active family, or perhaps we just dream of having some time to ourselves to quiet the mind.  We can live life to it’s fullest potential or we can hide away and wait for death.  We can create what we see in our dreams, or we can live in a world of unfulfilled dreams.  With this blog, I hope to inspire you to live life more fully and to create your dreams.

I am an Army wife, mother, and full-time college student.  However, I find the time to be as creative as possible (on tight budgets) and to live life to its fullest potential.  I will share my experience, trials, and victories with you.  I will share recipes, home decor and crafts, writing, and photography. I hope that you find the inspiration you need to create your dreams and live your life to its fullest potential.

  2. Hello newest Spikey! I know, a bit corny, eh, but that’s the term that has come to stick for those folk who are part of the clan known to be followers of Uncle Spike 🙂

Thank you… I really appreciate that as I for one, know how many interesting and entertaining blogs are out there.

My aim is to deliver an eclectic offering of posts, from my ‘point n shoot’ attempts at basic photography, to the sharing of my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day to day happenings here on the farm. Oh, plus a few observations on life as I see it, thrown in for good measure.

My promise to you is not to be overbearing, just a couple of posts a day, maybe 3 at weekends if I have something special to share. But if you are at a loose end one day, maybe you’ll enjoy trawling through some of my older stuff too. I have added plenty of categories to help in said digging process.

Thanks again and hope you have a great day…

    1. Thanks for stopping by! I too am quite eclectic, but try to keep things organized and easy to sift through on my blog. With my ADHD, it’s the organization is the only key to my success in anything at all! Which is probably also the reason why I have a blog that covers several topics!

    1. Miss Ostensseon,
I am honored and flattered to have been mentioned & linked in your post! I just took a look at your wonderful shopping bag and am quite impressed. I love that you re-used an old leather belt for the handle! I am also glad that I could help to inspire you. I firmly believe that conversation sparks creative thinking and moves toward solutions that may not have occurred otherwise. Looking forward to seeing more of your creative designs!
